HSE TECHNICIAN
Ensure a safe work environmentby promoting health, safety, and environmental compliance, identifying and reducing workplace hazards, and fostering a culture of safety through training, communication, and continuous improvement.
Conduct safety inspections of work areas.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Assist in developing safety procedures and protocols.
Conduct safety training for employees.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
Maintain safety records and documentation.
Identify potential hazards in the workplace.
Recommend corrective actions to address safety issues.
Provide guidance on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate safety policies and procedures to employees.
Participate in safety-related meetings and discussions.
Monitor and enforce safety regulations on-site.
Assist in developing safety manuals and guidelines.
Provide support during safety inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
Train employees on the proper handling of hazardous materials.
Investigate near-miss incidents and report findings.
Conduct safety orientations for new employees.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations.
Assist in conducting risk assessments.
Monitor and enforce proper machine guarding.
Assist in incident investigations and reporting.
Maintain safety signage throughout the workplace.
Monitor and ensure compliance with chemical safety protocols.
Coordinate safety training schedules.
Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
$28.00 to $32.00 per hour
