Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related discipline
Demonstrated laboratory experience preferred
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to understand and follow detailed experimental protocols
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately preserve and document experimental data
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate laboratory results
Comfortable working with chemicals, including potentially toxic substances, while following appropriate laboratory safety procedures
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with initiative while operating under the direction of a Senior Technician or Chemist
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand and work in a laboratory for most of the workday
Ability to safely handle chemical ingredients and laboratory materials
Willingness to follow all applicable laboratory, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures
