Required – PPE must be worn while on your job. At a minimum safety glass, steel toe shoes and hearing protection. Gloves are always required on the production floor and warehouses. Please see Appendix A and Appendix B (Conover Specific) attached to the Smurfit Westrock Glove Policy (CompliantPro). Bump cap per company policy

Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, hair nets, beard nets, composite/steel toe shoes, ear plugs, bump caps and gloves per glove policy.
Ability to use Plant Floor Data Collection system.
Ability to use and read basic measurement devices, (calculator, tape measure, and ruler.)
Learn to operate testing devices (i.e. Chatillon, E J Caddy, Mettler PM 480, Fluke IR Thermometer.
Lift truck (fork-lift) certification (if needed) and pallet jack operation.
General mechanical aptitude.
Pass Farnsworth Munsel-100 Hue Test.
Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Must follow detailed instructions for training and quality.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of Cartons: Perform quality checks on cartons being processed.
