Marine Engineer with 10+ years' of experience on MODU's or offshore construction/pipelay/diving support vessels with focus on DP system equipment operation, maintenance and testing.
At least 2 years of sailing as a 1st Engineer.
Knowledge of DP regulations applicable to the offshore drilling industry.
Travel is an essential job function (Expect 30% domestic, international, and offshore).
Thorough understanding of DP system typology and DP system configuration including marine auxiliary systems and power distribution, the setup of the DP control system, and the condition of marine propulsion equipment.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook.
Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Solid understanding of International Safety Management Code (ISM), Standards for Training, Safety Management System (SMS) and/or Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SEMS).
