A clean, smoke-free vehicle
Valid proof of auto insurance
Valid driver's license
Be authorized to perform services as an independent contractor in the U.S.
The Spark Driver app is available on both iOS and Android mobile devices.
For best use, we recommend using iOS 11 and newer or Android 5.0 and higher.
Additionally, all devices should have a camera with GPS.

Have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license, excluding Nevada, California, and Florida
Are 25 years of age or older
Have more than 1 year of driving history
Lease and drive a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner
Have personal auto insurance policy
Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN needed)
Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and submit to ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing as required under FTA rules
Submit to a CORI background check and ongoing monitoring through the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities
Any additional requirements for participating in this service will be communicated to prospective Driver Partners as necessary.
New Driver Partner Promotion Terms & Conditions: To be eligible, you must complete at least 30 hours of driving on the Via platform within 30 days of completing your driver onboarding session.
Breaks taken during driving hours will not be included in this 10-hour minimum.
This promotion may be revoked or altered at any time at Via's sole discretion, and these Terms are subject to change at Via's sole discretion.
