High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Completion of electrician course, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience is required.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Experience and capable of working with 230/460/600 volt AC & 250 DC mill controls and overhead cranes.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and perform work from schematics, technical specifications, drawings and sketches.
Experience with PLC systems and variable frequency drives (VFD) a plus.
Shift work, weekends, call-outs and overtime a must.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
