Licensed Veterinary Technician - American Association of Veterinary State Boards
Fear Free Shelter certification is required within 60 days of hire
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Able to work standing for 10 or more hours
Knowledge of shelter medicine and operations
Knowledge of veterinary hospital protocols and procedures
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Outstanding inter-personal communication and the ability to work in a team environment or independently
Possess a sense of humor that can balance flexibility and enthusiasm and thrives on detail.
Possess excellent Fear Free animal handling and restraint skills.
Proficiency in ImPromed (ImproMed)
Completion of the Fear Free 8 module course or willingness to complete within 60 days of hire/promotion
Basic to advanced computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office and ImproMed
