High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and work orders.
Set up welding equipment for various materials, thicknesses, and welding positions using fixtures and weld positioners.
Perform TIG welding on precision components while maintaining high quality standards.
Inspect completed welds and finished parts using calipers, gauges, protractors, and other precision measuring equipment.
Verify proper assembly and inspect for cosmetic defects.
Identify and tag non-conforming parts for rework.
Complete work according to manufacturing schedules and standard production times.
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and job documentation.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Comfortable operating computer-controlled equipment and making basic program adjustments.
Strong mathematical and computer skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
