Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic & Welder – Civil Fleet
Active Mechanic License OR documented Union affiliation is strictly required
A valid Driver's License is also required
A minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, welder, or fabricator
Advanced, hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, heavy hydraulics, and complex electrical systems
High proficiency in MIG welding
(TIG or Stick experience is heavily preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Location: Detroit, MI (On-Site at the Shop Yard)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Second shift work available! Weekends and heavy Overtime based on operational needs)
