Welding Specialist - Back Shift

High school graduate, or equivalent.
Ideal applicant has 3 - 5 years of welding experience in a shop environment
Applicants should have a good understanding/working knowledge of manual, semi-automatic, and mechanized/automatic welding processes such as the following: SMAW, GTAW, AGTAW-CW/HW, AGMAW, SAW, SA-GMAW.
Hands-on welding experience not required but is desirable to aid in training of shop personnel
Ability to work on a PC, using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook (email), Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to work well with various departments such as hourly personnel, shop supervision, Engineering support, etc.
Ability to follow detailed manufacturing plans and provide direction to shop personnel
Ability to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Availability to work overtime, some daily and occasional weekend support.
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
