Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and engineering drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using shop equipment (drill press, pneumatic hand tools, horizontal bandsaw, cutting torch)
Willingness to learn rotating equipment-specific skills and industry standards
Valid driver's license; ability to travel to customer sites as needed
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
May be required to work overtime or on-call based on job demands

Reading prints and calculate measurements
Operate Welding Equipment
Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or material requirements
Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operations methods of sequences
Operate cutting, punching, grinding, bending equipment
Layout, mark and assemble parts and structures
Smooth metal surfaces or edges
Reshape metal workpieces to established specifications
Metal Fabrication, layout, etc.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their capabilities, uses, repair and maintenance
Sawing, Punching, Bending, Drilling, Assembly
Welding (Mig)
Ability to use a Plasma Machine a plus
