Be able obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment
Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist
A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion
Certification in one of the following required: Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT
Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 18 months of employment

Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of two (2) years as a technologist in a surgical setting.
Current BLS certification through an ARC or AHA accredited program.
Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or registry eligible to be obtained within 1 year of hire and licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Radiologic Technologists.
Effective communication skills; both orally and written.
Computer skills needed. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
Strong critical thinking skills.
