CT Technologist – Interventional Radiology (5x8hr Day Shift) - Jefferson Highway

Required - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
Current unrestricted license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified OR ARRT registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license.
CT registry eligible within one year.
Advanced certification in CT within one year of becoming CT registry eligible.

Experience with Epic is required.
Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.
You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Experience required in neonate, infant, and geriatric patient populations.
Experience required in enema studies and surgery/C-Arm.
Able to go to surgery when needed.
