Experience with survey equipment
CAD software experience or strong desire to learn and advance within the surveying profession
Recording survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings
Perform survey calculations
Travel to various jobsites to obtain necessary survey data and jobsite information
Prepare CAD mapping using varying applications
Compile information necessary to stake projects for construction, using engineering plans
Field survey client assets and operate various equipment from different manufacturers including Trimble
Operate and use GPS surveying equipment
Perform boundary staking to establish or re-establish boundary lines
Schedule and communicate workload status to Project Manager in order to meet all deadlines
Self- motivated, have strong initiative and desire to learn and advance in the survey profession
Strong math and logical reasoning skills
Ability to understand land access and ROW acquisition issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
