- To assure a continuous production in the sterilization area. Loading and unloading sterilization vessels on time to avoid downtime in manufacturing areas. Repairs and maintains sterilizers and mechanical equipment in the sterilization area.
- Perform all duties with strict observance to Safety Regulations, cGMP's, cSOPs, cGDP's and other internal and external regulations.
- Fill out all documentation at sterilized vessels.
- Fill out all the reports.
- Perform preventive maintenance to the sterilizers.
- Able to work at any shift.
- Handle multiple tasks.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Team worked oriented.
- Takes the samples of the process.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Repairs electrical equipment.
- Perform calibrations to instruments and trouble shoots control panel area.
- Able to work within minimum supervision.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Sterilization Cycles Continuous Monitoring.
- Load, unloads and product movement on sterilization trucks.
- Maintain Baxter's commitment to high standards for compliance, enthusiasm and business integrity.
- Able to work with many projects and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Able to work Holidays, extra hours, or any shift when required (e.g. Shutdowns, external audits-FDA, ISO 9002, Corporate-, special projects).
- Must keep the work area clean and in order conditions
- The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- The employee is required to use the appropriate Safety Equipment that Baxter requires to comply with all Safety and Security rules (in Regulated Areas), such as: safety glasses, safety shoes, uniform, special safety suit, gloves, etc.
